Hinge-Threshold

METU VISIT

The threshold is the point where two elements come together while remaining independent. It serves as both a connection and a division. The hinge is a link that holds two elements together and allows them to interact while preserving their individuality. Both concepts help explain how elements are combined and relate to each other in design.

On this trip, we explored the concepts of threshold and hinge by visiting the Physics Department building, the Faculty of Architecture, and the library at METU, and we took photos of these places.
